MANAGING a groin/quad muscle injury, Western Spirit's goalkeeper Chris Morrall can sympathise with regional rival Zayne Freiberg.

Ipswich Knights goalie Freiberg is out for some weeks after being troubled by a bulged disc in his back.

Both keepers represented Ipswich superbly in last year's historic invitational clash against Brisbane Roar.

C[pounds sterling]My heart goes out to him (Freiberg),C[yen] Morrall said preparing for his latest clash against Rocklea United tomorrow.

C[pounds sterling]I do keep in contact with him to see how he is. I feel his pain.

As Morrall expects his injury to heal in a week or two, he's looking further ahead after his fifth season with the Goodna-based club.

C[pounds sterling]Everything just fell into place for us. I'd love to play that style week in, week out,C[yen] he said.

Unfortunately, Spirit faltered in its next two games Co losing 2-0 to Queensland Lions and 2-0 to Beenleigh in the midweek Canale Cup game.

C[pounds sterling]We had a bit of a bad spell on Sunday against Lions and on Tuesday night,C[yen] Morrall said.

C[pounds sterling]We had a couple of players out so I'm sure we'll pick it all up again. …
