NEWCASTLE Diamonds star Stuart Robson is through to the British Championship final.

Robson won through after finishing joint fourth with 10 points in last night's semi-final at Scunthorpe.

And though there was no joy for 19-year-old Richie Worrall, who collected four points in a gritty display, it is only his first season at Premier League level.

Robson had little difficulty in qualifying for the big showdown at Wolverhampton next month after notching two wins, a second and two thirds in another all-action display.

But the undoubted star of the night was home rider David Howe with a 15-point maximum, one ahead of Coventry's Edward Kennett.

Surprise package Ben Wilson, another Scunthorpe man enjoying home track advantage, was third on 13.
