PET owners will get plenty of information on the best ways to care for their pets at a free RSPCA Educational Mobile Unit (EMU) event.

The EMU van will stop on the front of Mackay Regional Council lawns from 9am to noon tomorrow to raise awareness about animal care.

Andergrove Veterinary Clinic is also offering a discounted price for microchipping at the event.

Health, sport and recreation committee chairman Paul Steindl said the free family day was tailored to residents of all ages and was filled with lots of fun and interactive activities.
