I'M like a kid counting down the sleeps until Christmas. Yes folks, I'm baaack!

I proved to coach Carty and our medical staff during a tough training session on Tuesday that I have fully recovered from my ankle injury.

As well as completing what was asked of me during the team training run, the medical staff also took me aside during short breaks and subjected me to a series of tests on my ankle which I passed with flying colours.

So I'll be pulling on the boots and running on in the starting line-up when we tackle a badly depleted St George-Illawarra Dragons down in Kogarah at WIN Jubilee Oval tomorrow night.

It has been seven long and trying weeks on the sidelines, sitting back and feeling helpless in not being able to get out and give the Titans a hand on the paddock.

I'll obviously be short of a gallop, even though I've worked hard on the cardio machines and have been able to put in a lot of running over the past fortnight.

I feel very fit but there's nothing like a game or two under your belt to bring you to your peak.

I'm as keen as mustard to get going. I feel like a young bloke making his debut and I hope that my enthusiasm to get into the action will rub off on my teammates and give them a lift.

This match comes at an opportune time for the Titans a our success rate is miles below what we all expected at the start of the season and we badly need a a[approximately]kill' to get our season back on track.

Fortunately we come up against the Dragons minus their Origin stars and a couple of injured players.

Sure we've got Greg Bird and Ashley Harrison marking time until next week's Origin II, but if we can't get the bikkies against this lot then our season is going to seem longer than sitting back and watching the grass grow.

The Dragons have Matt Cooper and Brett Morris out injured and Mark Gasnier, Jamie Soward, Darius Boyd, Ben Creagh and Beau Scott playing for either NSW or Queensland. …
