FORMER Boro striker Danny Graham has completed a pounds 3.5m move to Premier League new boys Swansea.

The Swans paid a club record fee to Watford for the Gateshead-born hitman, 25, who was fine-tuned at the Hurworth Academy.

Graham was the top scorer in the Championship last season with a healthy 24 goals - including three against Boro at the Riverside.

The deal is subject to a medical, which will be completed when the player returns from holiday.

Swansea confirmed: "The club has today agreed personal terms with Danny Graham who will sign a four-year contract with an additional 15% sell-on clause to Watford on any profit above the pounds 3.5m.

"Danny is looking forward to the challenge of Premier League football. We are delighted to get our man and there is no doubt he will strengthen our team for the new campaign."

Graham, scored 41 goals in 99 games for Watford after joining from Carlisle in a pounds 350,000 deal in 2007. …
