A HARTLEPOOL re-upholstering business is set to expand in to the online market with the launch of its first company website, thanks to a partnership with housebuilder Yuill Homes.

For the last five years, the Re-Upholstery Centre in Hartlepool has supplied Yuill Homes with a range of bespoke furniture, from headboards to three piece suites, to help furnish showhomes at developments across the North-east.

But now, with more than 14 years' experience offering a range of re-upholstering services from its current base on York Road, the Re-Upholstery Centre is set to promote its own manufactured furniture online - an idea which was further developed thanks to its partnership with Yuill.

Chris Aird, business owner for the Re-Upholstery Centre, said: "The business partnership we have shared with Yuill has not only helped us to establish ourselves as a regional bespoke furniture supplier, but has also given us the chance to explore new ideas and business opportunities.

"We continue to offer re-upholstery services to the general public, but thanks to this partnership we have been inspired with the idea to expand our manufacturing services for producing our own specially designed furniture.

"We hope that the launch of our first online service will help us to continue to grow in this area as well as future aspects of our business.

"Yuill Homes has been a fantastic and reliable organisation to work with and we look forward to continuing to provide it with high quality furniture in the future."

The Re-Upholstery Centre is currently producing a range of bespoke furniture to feature at Yuill Homes new two-bedroom Malden and its three-bedroom Litchfield showhomes which are now open at the College Gardens development in Billingham.
