The first restaurant of what could become a national burger chain is now open in Jacksonville.

Bubba Burger Grill, featuring the same burgers sold in grocery store freezers nationwide, is the first of four planned Jacksonville-area restaurants. It's at 13500 Beach Blvd., in the former Times Grill spot.

Billy Morris, the president and CEO of Jacksonville-based Hickory Foods, the parent company of Bubba Burger and the new Bubba Burger Grill, said Monday that he plans to have all four of the restaurants open by Labor Day.

Step 2: Select bun and toppings: cheese (50 cents); bacon, slaw, chili or fried egg ($1 each); and a variety of sauces.

Step 3: Add a side: Chili Cheese Fries, Parmesan Truffle Fries, Loaded Baked Potato, Bubba's Firesticks ($4 each); Fresh Cut Fries, Fried Green Beans, Bubba Chips, Bubba Bacon, Sweet Potato Fries and more ($2. …
