ONLY three games escaped the weather.

In Division One the match between East Harlsey and Power Station was rain affected, resulting in loss of overs, and ended in a draw.

The Power Station batted first and paid the price for using their full allocation of overs, posting 172-7. Liam Prosser hit 72 and Chris Ward took 5-58 for Harlsey. In reply Harlsey ended up with a creditable draw on 142-8. Kirby Sigston also managed to get a game on in Division One and visitors Hutton Rudby were inserted, making 204. Matt Timms hit a brisk 67 and Martin Pugh 89. Sigston managed the win by five wickets with Dave Thompson on form again with an undefeated 105.

In the second division the only match took place at Hutton Rudby B where visitors East Harlsey B made 135-9 and the hosts replied with 137-5 to gain their second win. …
