THE next Tim Cahill or Harry Kewell could well be discovered on the North Coast following

Enterprise & Training Company Limited's (ETC) sponsorship of North Coast Football.

ETC is supporting North Coast Football to the tune of $10,000 a year for the next three years.

aThis will help us attract the very best talent for our representative squads and junior development program,a North Coast Football coaching director Richard Evans said.

Mr Evans said some talented players were missing out because of the costs associated with travelling to games.

aIt costs the average family up to $6000 per season to have a child play in a representative team and some families simply cannot afford this,a he said.

ETC's general manager,

Michael Close, a former professional rugby league player with the North Sydney Bears, said he hoped the financial assistance would help make the game more inclusive for young local players.
