LIKE many of Australia's top cricketers Co past and present Co Ashley Noffke loves a round of golf.

Back living on the Sunshine Coast after pulling the pin last season on his distinguished cricket career, Noffke is spending much of time at his home course, Twin Waters Golf Club.

The former Australia, Queensland and Western Australia all-rounder was again at the course, where he is a long-time member, yesterday.

Currently an eight-handicapper, he hopes to lower that.

So is there a possibility he will follow the lead of former Australian tennis star Scott Draper by becoming a golf professional?

Noffke, 34, retired after playing one Sheffield Shield game and a single one-dayer for WA last season and then served as the Warriors' bowling coach.
