Region's Coaches Learn from Roar Boss

THE coach education night conducted last week by John Sime, from the Brisbane Roar, was a sparkling session of passing and moving.

We had 17 coaches attend and none were disappointed by the session put on by the big man under cold, Scottish-type weather.

The feedback from coaches in attendance was all positive.

I asked a few players who took part about their thoughts on John's passing and moving topic. To a man they said they had a great time and it would be great to get him back again.

John has since contacted me and said what a magic night he had. So, all in all, a happy camp.

I know the coach of the South-West Queensland under 19s Stevie Watt also enjoyed the session.

Clinics take place

IT'S school holiday time and I'm on the road.

I have just finished a Simply Magic SWQ football clinic at Kingaroy. I had a magic time in that part of the zone with our football family.

Monday we start our clinic in Toowoomba.

I'm delighted with the numbers and, as stated previously, next year we will have standard clinics across the zone with quality clinics at reasonable costs to parents. …
