Toowoomba Sniffs Finals after the Gap Stalemate

TOOWOOMBA Raiders maintained their good record against The Gap this season by taking a point against the third-placed side at Commonwealth Oval on Saturday night.

Raiders came back from 2-1 down at half-time to score a 2-2 draw which gets them closer to safety in the Brisbane Women's Premier League.

It also moves them back into fifth and could provide the foundation for a challenge for a top four spot as the regular season winds down.

Raiders are unbeaten against The Gap this year following a pre-season win, a victory earlier in the season and Saturday's draw.

Toowoomba was missing up to nine regular players, including experienced star Sarah Day who is in Germany watching the FIFA women's World Cup, so Turvey was pleased to take a point.
