What's New at the Theme Parks? Rides, Shows and Other Experiences Added to Lure You in and Bring You Back

If you live in Florida long enough, you'll get to the big theme parks sooner or later.

But Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Valdosta, Ga.'s, Wild Adventures aren't just sitting still and waiting for you to come visit. They've all added new attractions this year to keep people coming back for more.

DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Star Tours 2: The familiar Star Tours simulator has been updated, in 3-D, to reflect early "Star Wars" history.

Disney Junior: The Disney Junior - Live on stage has added characters from some of its newer shows, including Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Handy Mandy and Little Einsteins.

Meet and Play Experience with Phineas & Ferb: Meet and play with the two stars of the Disney Channel series "Phineas & Ferb." Phineas & Ferb sign autographs and take photos, and fans will be able to recreate some of the television show's favorite moments.

DISNEY'S MAGIC KINGDOM

The Magic, the Memories & You!: Cinderella Castle transforms during the "Let the Memories Begin" parade into a 10-minute production that highlights guests of the Magic Kingdom photographed earlier that day by Magic Kingdom employees.

The Haunted Mansion: Disney has added a new queue that leads park guests through a graveyard. New features include a tomb that spits water and a crypt that plays music.

DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM

Wild Africa Trek: Wild Africa Trek allows Animal Kingdom guests to leave their designated paths and accompany a guide through unexplored areas of the forest or for a drive through an animal-filled savanna. Learn about the wildlife while seeing the real animals steps away.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ORLANDO

Two Universal Studios attractions, Family Feud and Jimmy Neutron, will be leaving the park. Jimmy Neutron will be permanently removed Thursday, Aug. 18.

SEAWORLD

One Ocean: SeaWorld has a new killer whale show, "One Ocean," that connects guests to the seas. …
