Man Arrested after Armed Threat

Article excerpt

A Jacksonville man is charged with aggravated assault after a customer was followed out of the Fort Caroline Road post office and threatened with a gun.

Police said the suspect got into an argument with the 33-year-old man because he was standing slightly off-center of the customer service line Thursday.

As the man bicycled home, police said the suspect pulled up in a truck, got out and brandished a handgun. The victim got away without being hurt.

Police located Perry R. Frasier, 51, at the Reed Island Drive address listed on a package he dropped off at the post office.

Frasier was released on $5,000 bond Friday, jail records show.
