ENJOYING champagne and a three-course meal while surrounded by some of the coast's most ambitious and powerful women on a Friday afternoon may leave you feeling guilty about abandoning your business, but as Julie West will assure you, it's a great networking opportunity.

Julie West and Sarah Irvine of Cummings West Accountants have found the perfect way to de-stress, network and support local business by hosting Women in Business luncheons every four to six weeks at local restaurants.

aCummings West realised there was a need for local business women to get together and create networks with one another and support each other in business and nurture each other through these challenging financial times as well as raising much-needed funds for various charities,a Ms West said.

Tracey Foyster, representing a Tweed-based early childhood intervention business, was guest speaker at a luncheon on Friday at Coolangatta restaurant One Fish Two Fish. …
