LIKE it is for many proud Queenslanders, Origin night is a big event in my family.

Jerseys are worn, first try-scorer bets are placed and once there were streamers.

Everyone knows these nights aren't calm events.

It is about unleashing the up-kept emotion, saying ayou can't be seriousa at every referee decision against the maroons and never saying enough times ahow good is Locky/Smith/Slater/Thurstona a you get the picture.

Origin night is a bit like open-mike night in regard to attendees.

Anyone can come along as long as they have the compulsory chips and beverages.

However after this series I have had some time to contemplate and draw up a non-invitee list.

Firstly, Queenslanders out there let me ask you a question.

Is there anything worse than watching the Origin with a New South Wales supporter (especially when Queensland is losing)?
