THE impact of Kayla Hausfeld off the bench was one of many high points for the Warwick open netball team which finished fourth in open division 3 at the Country Carnival at Graceville at the weekend.

Hausfeld come on in various centre court positions.

C[pounds sterling]The O'Brien sisters combined well in attack, Jessica at goal shooter and Stephanie at goal attack.C[yen]

Defenders Donna Carey and Fraser had some tall players from opposition teams to contend with and played consistent netball.

Katie Fenton controlled the play well from centre. Jessica Carey and Ange Mann shared the wing attack role on Saturday but Mann suffered an ankle injury and missed the second day of play.

Lucy Fenton and Shari Hirning shared the wing defence role.

Fraser said, considering the opposition, the best performance of the weekend was against Tweed on Sunday when Warwick won 17-14. …
