PAM Andersen played squash for more than 20 years and became an A grade player. But she says swiping a little black ball around a squash court is not nearly as difficult as trying to hit a stationary golf ball.

But, after taking up the game less than three years ago, Pam's certainly well on the way to figuring it out.

Last Thursday at Horton Park, where she and husband Glynn joined only last September, she surprised even herself with a remarkable plus 10 in a par competition.

Pam's score was the equivalent of 49 stableford points and proved she was well on the way to achieving her ambition of getting her handicap below 30 by the end of the year. …
