BART Simpson and Dennis the Menace use them regularly, and now it would seem a group of Warwick thugs are, too.
Dubbed Cythe sling shot gang', a group of offenders roam Glennie Heights when the sun goes down and target buildings with their devices.
A number of homes and a building at Slade campus have had windows broken in a spate of attacks which began last Saturday.
Warwick police senior sergeant Stewart Day said police suspected a sling shot was used in the attacks.
C[pounds sterling]A number of windows in living areas of private residences have been smashed,C[yen] he said.
C[pounds sterling]Those include a house on Matthews St, Weewondilla Rd, the scout den on Matthews St and a building at Slade School.
