THE Bycroft Cup semi-finals are still a fortnight away but the Tugun Seahawks will get a dress-rehearsal tomorrow when the Southport Tigers come to town.

It's a must-win fixture for the Seahawks, who sit one-point behind leader Burleigh and Bilambil in third, if they are to keep their slim minor premiership hopes alive and crucial for building momentum heading into the finals.

Fourth-placed Southport is the proud premier from the last two Bycroft Cup seasons and will be hoping a win at Boyd Street tomorrow will be the catalyst to its third straight title.

It has been hot and cold over the past month or so, but if there is one thing the Tigers love it's the big games and this is certainly one of them.

It's the type of game in which the star players need to deliver. For the Tigers, that means players like inspirational skipper John Flint, experienced halfback Jeremy Golf, and livewire fullback Drumanye Dayberg, who is fresh off a round 16 hat-trick. …
