Pet Peeves That Drive Us Crazy on Our Roads

THANKS to everyone who emailed me with what peeves them off the most about driving in Ipswich.

Judging by some of the reaction I received, it seems I'm not the only one who thinks some people around the city bribed their way into gaining a licence.

I couldn't print all of what was sent in, but here's a selection of it.

The first comes from Michelle Radunz, who said:

aIf you think it's scary in a car on the roads, have a thought for us who ride 50cc motor scooters.

aI'm sure it's a competition amongst the car drivers to see who can come the closest to us without actually hitting us, who can yell the most obscenities or who can tailgate us the closest to see just how fast they can push us.a

Meanwhile David Camilleri, along with mentioning tailgaters and dangerous overtaking manoeuvres, pointed out how lax some are with indicating on roundabouts:
