Pop Wants Job Again Next Year

POP Dickerson wants to be back in 2012 and so do star imports James Legan and Rashad Chase, according to the Mountaineers coach.

Dickerson, Legan and Chase helped turn around the fortunes of the Toowoomba Mountaineers this season with Dickerson overseeing a promising QBL season for the former cellar-dwellers.

Americans Legan and Chase were outstanding in helping the Mountaineers to 10th on the ladder with five wins and Dickerson says they could return next season.

aThey could change their minds but both have said they want to come back,a he said.

Dickerson is happy with the progress of the Mountaineers, having transformed from a basket case after two win-less years to a team on the up, and is hopeful the improvement will continue next year with the nucleus of the squad likely to return.

aI think we can be better. I know we can improve on things and I want to be there,a he said.
