WHATEVER you do, don't play skins against Ken Rush on the 14th hole at Toowoomba Golf Club.

The 80-year-old will likely take your money.

Rush has proved age is little of a barrier on the golf course by hitting his second hole-in-one at the Middle Ridge course, coincidently on the same hole as his first almost exactly six years ago.

The long-time Toowoomba Golf Club member scored his first ace back on July 30, 2005, at what was then the fifth. He replicated that feat on Saturday at what is now the 14th hole during the monthly medal competition.

A proud Rush certainly has an affinity with the 14th at his home course.

aSome guys go all through their golfing careers and never have a hole-in-one and, ironically, it happened on the same hole,a he said.

The 21-marker had no idea he had achieved every golfers' dream when approaching the green following his tee shot on the 117m par three 14th. …
