Is a tan female french mastiff (aged about 10 months).

Domino was surrendered to the pound by her owner after being unable to find a rental property that would allow a dog.

Described as super friendly and loveable.

Is well behaved and quiet and gets on with other dogs but needs to be the leader of the pack.

She has a dominant personality and it can get a bit tense if there's another dominant dog in the yard.


Is a brindle female staffordshire bull terrier crossed (aged about three years).

Jemma was found straying and taken to the pound.

Described as having a super sweet personality and a dog who loves attention.

Is not a jumper, a digger or a barker and is fully house trained.

However, is a jealous girl who may get a bit snappy if needing to compete for attention with another dog.

Would be best as an only dog or with an older dog that won't annoy her too much.

THEY rescue animals from death row Co but right now it's Friends of RSPCA Gladstone which could use a little help.

The group has issued an urgent plea for more dog foster carers to come forward with a suitable home for two particular dogs in their care Co three-year-old female Staffordshire bull terrier cross Jemma and 10-month-old French mastiff Domino.

C[pounds sterling]If we can't find suitable carers then they (Jemma and Domino) may not be able to stay with us,C[yen] said an upset dog foster care co-ordinator Nicole Allison.

Having never before had to send back a dog due to a lack of foster carers, Ms Allison has described this situation as horrible.

Ms Allison said Jemma was in temporary care at the moment and can only stay there until today, while Domino is in a similar situation where she needs to be placed in more suitable foster care. …
