ELLISON (Westerhope). The family of the recently departed and sorely missed Thomas Foster (Tommy), wish to gratefully acknowledge family, friends and neighbours for their kind words, thoughts and support. Thanks also to the staff of Ward 25 and 26 at the Freeman Hospital, the Reverend David Thomson for a lovely service and to the staff at W.S. Harrison & Son Funeral Directors. A grand total of pounds 376 was raised for the Children's Heart Foundation.

LAVENDER (West Moor). Jo and family of the late Les wish to thank family, friends and neighbours for all the many cards and sympathy received during their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to the staff and committee of West Moor Club, to Phillip and Mark of Newcastle Funerals for their help, support and professionalism and to the Rev. Peter Rand for his comforting service.

NEAL (Vigo). Sandra and her family would like to thank everyone for the wonderful sympathy cards, mass cards, flowers and cakes, as well as their caring attitude of all of the friends of Ray who have given so much comfort at this sad time. A very big thanks to Fr. Duffy, the Catholic Mens Choir and the Felling Male Voice Choir for making the mass so special, it was very much appreciated. Thanks also to the ladies of the CWL for organising the food and teas. Ovingtons made our grief so much easier to bear by making the arrangements so well and in a caring manner. Thank you.

The family of the late Gordon Lewis wish to express their sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the kindness and sympathy shown to them during their recent bereavement, also for the cards, letters of condolence, floral tributes received and donations to Newcastle University Medical Research.
