EITHER Byron Bay or Lismore Workers will be hanging up the boots for the season after their clash in the Far North Coast premier league soccer elimination semi-final today at Byron Bay from 3pm.

Byron has had the edge on the Redmen this year with two wins and a draw, the most recent being a 2-1 home win last week.

Workers' only change is the loss of young goalkeeper Pierce Essery, who will be replaced by veteran Gavin Tinning.

The only potential change for the Rams revolves around central defender Ian Lenie, who is returning from injury, but coach John Sowter is reluctant to drop young incumbent Nolan Pierce.

aIan is a very experienced player, but Nolan has done a great job for us all year, so it's a tough decision,a Sowter said.

Powerhouse striker Jordy Campbell scored both goals in their win over the Redmen last week and will be a key figure, along with his strike partner, the Rams' top scorer Kazuhiro Tsukamoto. …
