PLAYERS have been arriving all week for the North Coast Open PSA/WISPA Tournament.

Many of the overseas players and visitors have been making themselves familiar with local attractions.

Court practice sessions have been steadily increasing as players acclimatise to local conditions.

Tarak Shehata, of Egypt, and Valen Bong, of Malaysia, stated they needed to get used to our colder conditions and less humidity.

The squads from Hong Kong and New Zealand have enjoyed their first hit-out and are very pleased with the standard of facilities to be enjoyed at the Coffs Squash Centre.

Juniors

A CLINIC attracted good numbers, with kids having the opportunity to hit with players competing in the Open divisions.

It's good experience for the younger members to get on court and hit with these players and see how they address and play shots to all parts of the court.

Grades

SUPPORTING the Open division will be graded events, with a number of Coffs Harbour players taking part. …
