IT'S no secret that Lismore Base Hospital is a rather aged facility but it's outside the building that is causing patients most concern a parking.

Aside from that, 42% of the hospital's outpatients thought Lismore Base Hospital was avery gooda a a rating well above the state average.

aThis is due to the clinicians and staff who work very hard to provide them with high-quality patient and focused care,a a Northern NSW Local Health District spokesperson said.

The NSW Bureau of Health Information released its Hospital Quarterly Report yesterday, which profiled the demand in NSW public hospitals between April and June this year.

For the first time, data on the performance of emergency departments had been omitted from the report, said Oppositions health spokesman Andrew McDonald.

In a NSW Patient Survey released with the report, 43% of Lismore Base Hospital outpatients surveyed rated parking as poor and as the hospital's lowest service.
