NATHAN Jervis isn't too worried what he gets for Father's Day because as far as he's concerned he already got the best present ever, and it was even a few days early.

Mr Jervis is manager of the High Street Plaza Pharmacy and was off work for opening day after receiving the call from wife Carla that baby number three was on the way.

Grand opening or not, there was no way he was missing the birth of his first son.

He was pretty reflective about the meaning of Father's Day as he cradled his new son Christopher, born at 1.25am on Thursday.

For a start, he discovered your heart lodges in your throat just as quickly when you get the call about your wife going into labour with baby number three as it does with baby number one.

He has discovered that no matter how many people tell you that you should be particularly excited about your first son, girls can play footy with dad just as well. …
