TRAINER Brett Bellamy's patience with promising filly Mud Wrestler is set to be rewarded, beginning at Coffs Harbour this afternoon.

The Lyndhurst Stud-owned three-year-old by Sequalo is poised to break through in the North Coast Event Hire Maiden (1209m).

aShe's a big, immature girl and has been given plenty of time to develop,a Bellamy said.

Mud Wrestler made her debut on her home track at Coffs Harbour on January 9, chasing home Lord Bryn to be beaten a length into second place over 810m.

aPeter Graham rode her that day and said she's a very handy filly,a Bellamy said.
