LUCY Hendriks has styled Hollywood A Listers including Pierce Brosnan and Val Kilmer.

She is heading to Toowoomba to give fashion advice and styling tips at Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre next week.

Lucy, a qualified stylist, will run workshops on September 19 and 20 to help women of all ages to look and feel great.

These workshops are part of Clifford Gardens In Season 2011 events running throughout September.

Lucy shared her key trends for spring/summer 2011 and body-shape tips with Diva.

Neon-Brights

Get ready for an optic jolt in the guise of acid colors such as electric blue, hot pink, lime green, purple, fluorescent orange and yellow. Designers such as Christopher Kane and Jil Sander made a splash with their neon coloured pieces for spring 2011. Make a bold statement with towers of single-colour blocks from head to toe or break the fashion rules by deliberately contrasting dramatic colours for a real runway look.

Body Shape Tip: Wear the brighter colours on the parts of your body you want to highlight. Pair it with darker garments on areas that you want to minimise.

Seventies

Seventies-inspired pieces are set to be a huge trend this season, with the key items being high-waisted flared pants and jeans, platform shoes, bow blouses, white trouser suits and maxi dresses. Find flared denim jeans in modern cuts. MacramE[umlaut], crochet, and fringing are incorporated in everything from vests, to bags, shoes and dresses. Think Bianca Jagger circa Studio 54 meets Charlie Girl.

Body Shape Tip: If you are petite, try not to go too wide with the flares, or it will drown your tiny frame. Wear flares in an indigo hue if you are more bottom heavy.

White Out
