SENIOR CENTER TO HOST MOVIE PREMIERE

Roll out the red carpet for a movie premiere at the Mandarin Senior Center at 3848 Hartley Road. Seniors will walk the red carpet with paparazzi and journalists video-taping and interviewing them at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Lunch and snacks will be available at the concession stand. In recognition of National Senior Center Month, the city's Adult Services Division is hosting special events such as this at its 19 senior centers.

PERUSE FALL COURSES AT OSHER CENTER EVENT

The University of North Florida has a deal for you. You can go back to school with no tests or grades. Moreover, you can pick from an array of more than 70 courses taught in a fun environment. Its Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is hosting an open house and registration from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at UNF's University Center near Butler and Kernan boulevards.

The fall term begins Monday, Sept. 26. Most courses are from four to six sessions and are priced between $20 and $45, a news release said. …
