Is there anything more delicious?

Well, yes. For an added dose of delectability, just throw in the television media jumping on a holier-than-thou soapbox and you've got yourself a real treat.

A treat I gobbled up like a true gourmand this week.

There they were, co-hosts of a popular morning television show.

They had their concerned, serious (imagine Mike Moore, Frontline) faces on, as they discussed the breaking story of the three-year-old girl dressed up like a prostitute by her mother to secure beauty pageant victory.

Disgusting, they agreed. Appalling. Disgraceful.

I was with them absolutely up until this point, their words confirming my own fervent opinion that beauty pageants (from the Beautiful Babies competitions held in shopping centres right through to the Miss Universe a or aDonald Trump's next wife selection panela a quests held in locations where bikinis are a logical choice of day-wear) should be banned.

(I was forced to slightly rethink this opinion later in the week, when the chief judge of the Miss Universe quest assured the world that winners would be chosen on intellect, passion, and commitment.
