NORTHERN Beaches Bi-Lo supermarket has less than three weeks until its transformation is complete.

On the morning of October 19, it will open its doors and trade as Northern Beaches Coles supermarket.

The centre has a new sign and is undergoing an internal revamp.

Northern Beaches Bi-Lo supermarket has served the region's shoppers for eight years and when it reopens as Coles it will have a modernised market-style layout.

Store manager Brendan Rowney said the changes would include a larger seafood section, an instore open bakery, fresh produce will be on ice, six self-serve checkouts, a stationery and giftware aisle, and a dedicated health and beauty aisle with a larger and more diverse variety of products on offer.
