No Jail Time for Teenage Menace

Article excerpt

A GOONDIWINDI teen who was part of a group that went on an out-of-control rampage across the region has walked free from court, despite pleading guilty to no fewer than 36 criminal offences.

Dallas Ashley Duncan appeared in the Warwick Magistrates Court yesterday to front charges related to break and enters of homes, cars and businesses.

The break and enter at Yelarbon involved Duncan and other members jemmying open the door of a hotel before kicking in the door of the store room and making off with around 30 bottles of spirits.

Witnesses reported seeing the group laughing while fleeing with their bounty.

The Inglewood incident involved the teens entering the bowls club and jemmying open one sliding door and smashing another to gain entry to the building. …
