CREATIVE pupils from a Teesside school will be showing off their dazzling designs at a prestigious exhibition in London.

Students from Teesside High School have been handpicked to provide work for an exhibition at the Royal Ballet, in Covent Garden.

Among the works being displayed are a range of corsets created by pupils at the Eaglescliffe school.

Delighted Hayley Anderson, 15, said: "I'm quite excited about it and quite proud of my work. We all chose different themes for it.

Mine was masquerade.

"I was really happy with it. But it was harder to make than it looked!" Classmate Sophie Harbour, 15, added: "Some of it was quite hard to do and frustrating!

"It's exciting that it will be on display. It will be nice to show it off."

Teesside High School is the only school in the North-east picked to exhibit fashion designs - and is just one of nine schools selected across the country.

The work was created by GCSE, AS and A Level Product Design Textiles students. …
