THE creators of internationally-renowned and locally-produced dirtgirlworld on ABC Television, have joined the call from Regional Development Australia to participate in its environmental business survey.

The 10-minute online survey closes this Friday and aims to give environmental businesses a voice a and also a chance to win a 12 month subscription to the Ethical Investor magazine.

It is an issue close to home for dirtgirlworld co-creator/producer Cate McQuillen, whose award-winning children's show promotes sustainable living and won the Australian Directors Guild green awareness encouragement award across all film and television genres last year.

Ms McQuillen and partner Hewey Eustace have just fulfilled a 20-year-old dream by fully converting the production studio to solar power at their Whiporie property between Casino and Grafton.
