BILTON HALL will stage their first show of the season at Jarrow's Neon Social Club on Thursday when their new National Firefighter heavyweight champion Paul Harkess will headline.

Harkess, who was now won four of his five fights, goes in against the tough and more experienced Dan Taylor from Ryton.

A 15-bout bill will feature a strong Bilton Hall select squad against boxers from across the region and will include some good looking derby bouts.

Sean Moore has delayed his entry into the professional ranks to try and gain revenge over his last opponent, Middlesbrough's Tim Sammandie who is now the Tyne Tees and Wear Belt holder.

The exciting Reece Brooks, now fighting in the light-middleweight division for the host club, is up against Ryan French from High Fell in what should be a thrilling contest.

Kile Nicholas, who reached the ABA quarterfinals in last season's Novice championships, will be boxing another High Fell boxer Dan Corrigan.

A couple of derby bouts will involve Bilton's hard hitting light welterweight Andrew Chance facing up to Boldon's Jordan Carr, and debutants Sean Lewis (Bilton Hall) against Davy Shield from Harton Welfare. …
