BERTRAM (Lowick). Formerly of Watchlaw. Suddenly but peacefully in hospital on Saturday 8th October, James Hedley (Jim), aged 89 years, dearly loved husband of the late Eleanor and Bessie, devoted brother of George, Bob and the late John, dear uncle of all the family. Service in Lowick Parish Church on Friday 14th October at 11.00am, followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle at 1.15pm. Friends please meet at the church or crematorium. Family flowers only donations in lieu may be given to the British Heart Foundation or Parish Church Funds.

DREW (Ashington). In hospital on 9th October, aged 89 years, Nancy (nee Locker), beloved wife of the late Percy, much loved mam of Judith and David, Freda and the late Bill, a loving grandma and great grandma of all the family and sister of the late Edie. Friends please meet for Funeral Service and cremation at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday 14th October at 1.00pm. GILL (Mitford). On 10th October, aged 85 years, Hilda, dearly loved wife of the late Dick, dear mother of Richard, motherinlaw to Valerie, much loved nana to Helen and Sonia and great nana to Jack, Scott, Dylan and James. Service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Mitford on Monday 17th October at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at church. GILL (Prudhoe). After a long illness fought with great courage and dignity, Pam (nee Ridley), peacefully passed away on October 6th 2011, aged 69 years, much loved wife of Andrew, dearly loved mother of Michael and the late Carol, loving motherinlaw of Valerie, devoted nana of Mark, Sam, Sean, Bethannie and Chloe, adored sister of Kathleen, Brenda and Joe, special sisterinlaw of Robert, Len, Sheila, Neville and his wife Sadie. Pam will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Would friends please meet for service in St. Mary Magdalene Church, Prudhoe on Monday October 17th at 12.00noon, followed by cremation at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton. Floral tributes welcome or donations in lieu of flowers to Macmillan support or Tynedale Hospice at home.

Suddenly at home on October 7th, aged 70 years, Les, best husband of Val, much loved dad of Mark and Darren, loving granda of Laura, Hollie, Georgia, Lucy, Wil and James.
