MIKE DUNN'S latest win over Tow Law's David Craggs moves the Redcar professional one step closer to lifting the Lumley Moor SC Premier League title.

Trailing the joint top leaders Michael Rhodes and Sam Craigie (30) by two points but with a game in hand, s unn got his campaign under way by coming from 44-5 down to take the opener 81-44 with a wellconstructed 76.

With Craggs out of touch in the next two sets and unable to score, Dunn took the chance to stretch his winning score to 3-0. Craggs managed to whittle the score down to 3-1 after clinching the fourth 68-18 with a top break of 34, but Dunn hit back to claim the fifth.

Craggs' confidence seemed to dry up completely as Dunn won the final three frames to take the match 7-1. ? THERE was little success for the region's three challengers who made the long trip over to Poland for the sixth in the series of 12 WSA Players Tour Championship (PTC) the Warsaw Classic.

Stephen Craigie performed the better of the trio, beating both Dominic Dale and Ian Burns before going down to Stephen Lee. …
