LEAGUE leaders Citz stayed unbeaten at the top with a thrilling 4-3 win at Clarendon Hotel.

Clarendon struck first but the high-flying visitors scored through Lee Wells and Mark Hudson to lead at the break.

The home side equalised in the second half before Michael Dowse and Nick Hudson put Citz back in front. Clarendon pulled a goal back in the closing minutes but could not prevent Citz extending their winning run.

Kingfisher are hot on the leaders' heels after Michael Pollard's hat-trick saw them come from behind to beat Ennis Square 3-2. Square led 2-0 but a Pollard penalty sparked the fightback in a match that could have gone either way.

Lazenby Nags Head got their season up and running with a 9-2 monstering of Mackinlay Park, who slumped to a second heavy defeat.

Wheatlands Park also got their first points of the season, beating New Marske Institute 5-4 after the visitors had taken a two-goal lead.

Grangetown marched on in the second division with a thumping 12-2 win at Marske Sports Club. …
