THREE tiers of government all on the one side?

It sounds too good to be true. But a push is on to unite local, state and federal for a common cause. Funding from all three is sought to purchase a half hectare block of land in Buderim for use as a community precinct.

The block, owned by Doctor Bill Glasson, is presently a temporary home to the Men's Shed and also has a vacant house on it but has been on the market for a figure believed to be $3 million.

Steve Dickson, the member for the state seat of Buderim, said the Mill Rd property was a rarely-available parcel and perfect for community groups.
