JAGUARS AT STEELERS

1 p.m., Sunday; CBS

STEELERS

Coach: Mike Tomlin.

Career record: 46-23.

Last week: Beat the Titans, 38-17.

Offense: 12th (373.6 ypg).

Defense: 2nd (282.8 ypg).

Offensive leader: Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers had a slow start in a 35-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in their season opener. He threw three interceptions and lost two fumbles in that game. Overall, the quarterback has completed 63.4 percent of his passes and thrown eight touchdowns. He's had six interceptions total and been sacked 15 times.

Defensive leader: Safety Troy Polamalu signed an extension worth $36.5 million with $10.55 million guaranteed just before the start of the season, a deal he expects to allow him to retire as a Steeler. Polamalu has made 35 tackles this season and one sack. He's also had six pass defenses this year.

JAGUARS

Coach: Jack Del Rio.

Career record: 66-67

Last week: Lost to the Bengals, 30-20.

Offense: 32nd (270.6 ypg).

Defense: 8th (316.4 ypg).

Offensive leader: The Jaguars' running game gashed the Bengals' top-ranked defense in the first quarter. Behind an offensive line that is playing well, Maurice Jones-Drew continued his solid showing with 85 yards rushing. Jones-Drew was second in the NFL in rushing last week and is fourth after Sunday.

Defensive leader: Jeremy Mincey had one of his best games, notching his first sack of the season. Mincey had been very active around the quarterback and felt he should have had two strip-sacks against Carolina. Mincey has started with Aaron Kampman out of the lineup, but it's possible even if Kampman returns, Mincey will continue to start opposite him.
