YARALLA is still chasing its first win of the season after collapsing to lose six wickets for seven runs against BITS at the weekend.

Winning for BITS began at the coin toss with the side electing to bat first, quickly taking the upper hand.

Dave Webber (77) continued his great start to the season as he and Steven White (52) put on 112 for the opening stand.

However BITS did not have it all their own way, with Harry Fordyce (3/39) keeping the total to 249.

But Yaralla started badly with Chris Bye brilliantly run out off the third ball.

BITS' new signings Josh Walters (2/16) and Mitch Goodwin (2/8) showed what great additions they will be. But Lachlan Perkins was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/9 as Yaralla lost its last six wickets for seven runs to be all out for 72.

BITS' Nev Judd said the team was happy with the result but were only looking ahead to the next game. …
