RUGBY LEAGUE: His club may be mired in turmoil, but Manly and Australian Test halfback Daly Cherry-Evans is having the time of his life.

Cherry-Evans described his try-scoring international debut against Wales on Sunday as the best moment of his career.

It's the latest in a long list of highs for the 21-year-old so far this year, having claimed an NRL premiership, Dally M rookie of the year award and international halfback of the year prize in 2011.

But his second-half try after coming off the interchange bench late in the opening period topped the lot, with the Kangaroos overcoming a stubborn Welsh outfit 56-14 at Wrexham.
