ARCHIBALD (West End). Newcastle. Peacefully on Thursday 17th November 2011, aged 85 years, Alan, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty), loving father of David and John, fatherinlaw of Elizabeth and Sheila, dearly loved grandfather of Andrew, Rebecca and Michael and a loved uncle and brotherinlaw. Would family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at the West Road Crematorium on Thursday 1st December at 11.00am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be sent to Arthritis Research U.K., St. Mary's Court, St. Mary's Gate, Chesterfield. S41 7TD or a retiring collection will take place at the crematorium.

CURRAN (Gosforth). Formerly Benwell. Peacefully in St. Catherine's Nursing Home on 18th November 2011, Mary, aged 86, beloved wife of the late Harry, treasured mam to Anne, Joan, David and Lynne, treasured motherinlaw to Maurice, Liz and David, sadly missed nana and great nana to all of her grandchildren. Friends and family please meet for Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, North Gosforth at 10.00am prior to service at West Road Crematorium at 11.30. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St. Catherine's Nursing Home. All welcome following the service at Gosforth Park Hotel for refreshments and memory sharing of this fantastic lady. DAVISON (BerwickuponTweed). Alistair B (Border Engines), suddenly on Sunday 20th November at home, devoted husband and best friend of Moira, adored, loved and respected father of Bruce, Carole and Stuart, fatherinlaw to Linda and Ann and much loved Grandad Alistair to Sophie and Richard.

Private burial, followed by Service of Thanksgiving at Berwick Parish Church, on Monday 28th November at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please.
