WANT to see Yeppoon's Christmas lights from a different perspective? Join Capricorn Coast Bicycle User's group Christmas lights tour on Tuesday, December 20. Riders can light up their own bikes with Christmas dazzlers to add to the Yuletide spirit. Meet at Appleton Park All Abilities Playground for a 7pm start and bring something festive to share for supper.

Pensioners concert

COME and join in the fun at the free Yeppoon Pensioners Concert tomorrow. See you at the pavilion in Yeppoon showgrounds at 1pm. Meeting is at noon.

Emu Park Probus Club

THE December meeting of the club will be held at the Emu Park Bowls Club tomorrow at 10am. Guest speaker this month will be Sr Joan Molloy, a member of the Sisters of Mercy. Sr Joan will speak of the work of the Sisters in the Diocesan parish for the past 138 years and their plans for the future. The speaker for November was John Lever, from Koorana Crocodile Farm, who kept the group very well informed on the behaviour of crocodiles. The last outing for the year was on November 24 when members travelled to Glenmore Homestead for lunch. The club always welcomes new members and visitors. They are in recess now until February, so, watch for further notices and, in the meantime, perhaps consider joining the club. Members wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. Safe journeys.

Blue Light Disco at hall

BLUE Light Disco (PCYC) is on at Yeppoon Town Hall on Friday from 6pm-9pm, $5 entry, primary school age only. Canteen open, play station, dancing, cool music, awesome DJ. Police supervised event.

Christmascent sale

CAWARRAL Hall will hold a Christmas cent sale on Saturday at 2pm with doors opening at 12.30pm. There will be a kids cent sale table plus a multi-draw and money raffle. Entry and afternoon tea are free. All tickets are $1 each. Enquiries phone Jenny 4934 4218 or Del 4935 4866

Beachside drumming

BEACHSIDE Drumming and Fire-dancing is on Saturday at Yeppoon Main Beach from 7pm. BYO drum/percussion, fire sticks, rug or chair and enjoy the rising moon. Spectators welcome for this family friendly activity.
