Wind and rain hasn't helped, but try out around the islands as soon as the weather clears. A few crabs and prawns up the creeks and in the inlet. Sarina Bait Supplies 49561064.

Mackay

The creeks are fishing well, fingermark mangrove jack and grunter. Murray and Constance Creek fishing well, king salmon and grunter biting on yabbies and strip baits. Rocky Dam Creek has been crabbing well with some good prawns. Clint at Mackay Tackle World, 49572145

Been tough with the weather but would try the Pioneer River this weekend. There is shelter there and not far from the ramp if it does blow up. Beaches are the go for flathead, bream and whiting. Fred. BCF, Mackay, 49423499.

Grunter and salmon are on the bite with the incoming tide best. Strip baits, prawns and yabbies are the go. Try Reliance Ck and the Proserpine River. The creeks are best at the moment. Nashy's Compleat Angler, North Mackay, 49572272.
