Ex - Toon Bosses Set for Black - Tie Charity Event; Charlton and Ardiles Confirmed, King Kev a Possibility

NEWCASTLE United's most famous managers are set to come together for a special reunion.

Familiar names including Jack Charlton, Willie McFaul and Ossie Ardiles are already confirmed for the charity event in Gateshead.

And organisers are working their way through a list that could include the likes of stars Kevin Keegan, Kenny Dalglish, and Alan Shearer.

It is also hoped other fans' favourites will attend, including Championship title winner Chris Hughton.

The event, which will be held at the Lancastrian Suite in Dunston, will also bring together former coaches and assistants, with organisers contacting figures such as John Carver and Terry McDermott.

The event will include speeches and also a chance for fans to ask the former bosses questions.

Alan Pardew will be invited, with organiser Steve Wraith saying fans would love to see him there after his successful first year in charge of the club - despite initially being an unpopular appointment.

Proceeds will go to the NSPCC and there will also be dinner, drinks and the chance for photographs. Steve said: "It should be a fantastic event. We want to bring together some of the most colourful characters from the club's history. …
