Keegan: Mancini Will Get It Right

ROBERTO MANCINI will come through the mini-crisis at Manchester City and put the club back on course for the title with victory over Fulham tomorrow.

Kevin Keegan, who managed both teams, also believes the Italian will beat his reign at City of 46 months -- the longest of any boss at the club over the past 30 years.

City have lost four of their last eight games, are out of the Champions League and both domestic cup competitions and lost their Premier League points lead over Manchester United with defeat at Everton on Tuesday.

Mancini took the blame for that result but Keegan said: "My guess is he was trying to deflect attention away from the players as they let him down. But I'm sure he has looked at the fixture list and said to his players, 'After the next seven or eight games we could virtually ensure that we're champions'."

Opposition over the next couple of months includes Fulham, Aston Villa, Blackburn, Bolton, Swansea, Chelsea, Sunderland and Arsenal. …
